About Me

Triada Samaras: I am an interdisciplinary artist who has exhibited widely over the past 20 years both nationally and internationally. I am working primarily with paint in the current moment: acrylic, oil and watercolor on canvas, wood and paper. I work both outdoors (en plein air) and in the studio with photographs that I take on location. Recently a diagnosis with Long Covid has been a new factor in my art practices. This has presented challenges but has has also inspired new themes and methods in my artworks.
